Skillet Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 strips bacon, halved
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sour milk
Preparation

    pan.
    Sift dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in milk
    quickly.
    Pour the the dough over the bacon and spread evenly.
    Put
    lid
    on
    skillet and cook slowly about 10 minutes. Pour
    off
    any excess fat.\tTurn bread over and cook another 10 minutes.
