Stew And Corn Bread Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (1 1/2 to 2 1/2 lb.) beef stew
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    3/4 c. milk
    1 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. green onion or chopped green pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Empty beef stew into shallow baking dish.
    In mixing bowl, beat egg.
    Add oil, milk and cornmeal; mix thoroughly.
    Stir in cheese and green pepper or onions.
    Pour batter over stew.
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brown.
