Marshall Field Ozark Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. presifted flour
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. chopped apples
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease a 1-quart casserole.
    On a piece of waxed paper, sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    In a mixing bowl, beat egg and sugar until light and creamy.
    Add flour mixture; blend well.
    Fold in apples, nuts and vanilla.
    Turn into casserole.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
    Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
