Sour Cream Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 potatoes, boiled and mashed
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    chives
    bacon bits
    small tub soft margarine
    16 oz. sour cream
    2 lb. shredded Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    To the potatoes, add milk, butter, salt and pepper.
    Each layer should be about 1/2-inch.
    Layer in round casserole dish: mashed potatoes, margarine, sour cream, bacon bits, chives and Velveeta.
    Repeat until ingredients are gone, always ending with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
