Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    1/4 lb. ground veal
    1/4 lb. ground pork
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 can condensed beef broth
    1/2 c. beer
    1 1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. light cream
Preparation
    Have meat ground extra fine, together.
    Combine egg with beer and bread crumbs; let stand 10 minutes.
    Cook onion in 1 tablespoon butter, until tender but not brown.
    Combine meat, bread crumbs, onion and seasonings; mix well.
    Shape into small balls, using about 1 tablespoon mixture for each.
    Melt remaining 3 tablespoons butter; brown thoroughly on all sides, shaking pan frequently to keep balls round.
    When meat is brown, reduce heat and cook about 5 minutes longer.
    Put into fondue with gravy.
