Mammaw Steenbergen'S Best Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/3 c. lard
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Dissolve soda in buttermilk. Combine lard with flour. Add milk/soda mixture. Stir.
    Put on floured board and knead lightly until smooth.
    Pat out and cut.
    Bake in a 450\u00b0 oven until lightly brown.
