Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening or oleo
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour with cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Cut in oleo to a fine crumbs.
    Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla and add to flour and shortening mixture.
    Place walnut size balls of dough (dipped in sugar) on slightly greased cookie sheet.
    Flatten with a glass or cookie stamp.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes, until edges are light brown.
    Cool.
    Ice with Betty Crocker cream cheese frosting and sprinkle with pretty sprinkles.
