Caramel Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) jar caramel ice cream topping
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    8 to 9 large apples*, pared and sliced (pears can be used)
Preparation
    Mix together the caramel topping with the softened cream cheese.
    Pare and slice apples just before serving.
    Sprinkle a little lemon juice on them to retard the browning of the apples. Makes 24.
    Can be made a couple of days ahead.
