Mary'S Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. corn syrup
3/4 c. milk
2 sq. chocolate
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts (if desired; she never used them)
Preparation

Cook sugar, syrup, milk and chocolate together until it forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
Remove from heat and add butter.
Cool until you can hold your hand on bottom of pan.
Add vanilla (and nuts) and beat until creamy.
Pour onto buttered platters.
Cut in squares when cool.
