Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter/margarine
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 c. flour
    5 egg whites, beaten
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    5 egg yolks
    1 c. buttermilk
    coconut
Preparation
    Cream shortening and butter; add sugar and egg yolks (one at a time).
    Add flour, soda, milk and vanilla.
    Add coconut and nuts. Fold in egg whites.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
