Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar, sifted
1/2 lb. Miracle Whip (2 sticks)
1/2 c. Crisco
5 eggs
3 c. cake flour (Swans Down)
1/2 c. cocoa, sifted with flour
1 1/4 c. sweet milk (add gradually)
1/2 tsp. baking powder (sift with flour)
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Cream sugar, Crisco and Miracle Whip.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add flour and milk alternately.
Add vanilla flavoring and salt.
Bake 1 hour or 1 hour and 20 minutes.
