Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can fruit cocktail, remove 1 Tbsp. juice
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    In large bowl, beat 1 egg slightly and add vanilla and fruit cocktail.
    Then mix dry ingredients and add slowly.
    Mix well. Pour into ungreased pan and top with brown sugar and nuts.
    Bake 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Top with whipped cream.
