Arkansas Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    juice of 1 lemon
    3/4 c. pineapple juice
    1 (No. 2) can pineapple, drained
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1/4 lb. colored miniature marshmallows
    1/3 c. maraschino cherries, cut in half
Preparation
    In small saucepan, blend together first 5 ingredients.
    Cook on medium-low heat until slightly thickened.
    (Keep stirring so it won't stick.)
    Cool slightly.
    Use cream cheese at room temperature.
    Place in bowl; beat until creamy.
    Add sauce and beat well.
    Stir in pineapple, marshmallows and cherries. Refrigerate.
