Sausage-Rice Vegetable Medley - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 onion, chopped
    3 ribs celery, chopped
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    1 (4 1/2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
Preparation
    Combine all of the ingredients in a Dutch oven and mix until well blended.
    Cover and simmer for about 20 to 25 minutes, until rice is done.
    Serves 6 to 8.
