Jam-Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 c. peach preserves
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. coconut (optional)
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all together.
    Bake in 3 layers (round pans) at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes, or a 9 x 13-inch pan.
