Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Sift flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Mix shortening, sugar and eggs well.
    Combine and mix well.
    Chill.
    Roll in balls the size of walnuts.
    Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 3 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Dip cookie ball in mixture.
    Bake on cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Remove immediately from cookie sheet. Yields 5 to 6 dozen.
