Pie Dough Fried Fruit Tarts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 eggs
2/3 c. Crisco
1 can Carnation milk
canned pie filling (apple, peach, etc.)
Preparation

Combine flour, salt, baking powder and sugar, then add eggs, Crisco and milk.
Let dough set in refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours. Roll as thin as possible (it won't tear up).
Cut around a saucer.
Put fruit on dough, take fingers and wet edge of dough with water.
Mash together with a fork.
Fry in hot Crisco (they brown fast).
