Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 pkg. (4 serving size) vanilla instant pudding and pie filling
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation

Mix flour with baking soda.
Combine butter, sugar, vanilla and pudding in large mixing bowl.
Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat eggs.
Gradually add flour mixture then stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Batter will be stiff.
Drop by rounded teaspoonful 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
For chocolate-chocolate chip cookies, substitute chocolate pudding instead of vanilla.
