Wild Strawberry Freezer Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced wild strawberries
    4 c. sugar
    1 pkg. fruit pectin
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Combine strawberries and sugar, mixing thoroughly; let stand 10 minutes.
    Mix pectin with water in large saucepan, bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Quickly add fruit, continuing to stir and cook for 3 minutes.
    Pour jam into sterilized glass or plastic containers with tight fitting lids. Cover immediately.
    Let container stand at room temperature for 24 hours then place jam in freezer.
