Old Fashion Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bread
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/3 c. raisins
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/3 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    2 1/2 c. milk, scalded
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Butter a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Toast bread slices lightly.
    Break bread into small pieces in casserole. Sprinkle with raisins.
    Blend eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and salt.
    Gradually stir in milk; pour over bread in casserole.
    Place casserole in pan of very hot water (1-inch deep).
    Bake 65 to 70 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
