Mom'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 t. salt
    1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 T. butter, melted and cooled
    1 t. vanilla
    1 c. pecan halves
    9-inch pie crust.
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0. In medium mixing bowl, beat eggs lightly and add sugar, salt, corn syrup, butter and vanilla. Stir until well mixed. Spread pecans on bottom of 9-inch pie shell; cover with filling. Place in oven and reduce oven temperature down to 350\u00b0. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, until filling is firm in the middle.
