Chocolate Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix with pudding
    14 oz. pkg. caramels
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    3/4 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix as directed on package.
    Spoon 1/2 of batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes (cake will not test done).
    Cook cake for 10 minutes.
