Louisiana Peach Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sliced fresh peaches
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place peaches and 6 tablespoons sugar in container of electric blender.
    Process until pureed (yields about 2 1/4 cups).
