Ingredients

1 1/2 c. butter or Parkay, soft
2 eggs, lightly beaten
4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light molasses
2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. ginger
Preparation

In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and molasses, mix thoroughly.
Blend in all dry ingredients.
Roll into walnut sized ball.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet (do not flatten).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until done (centers will be slightly soft).
