Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 eggs, separated
1 1/2 c. milk
6 Tbsp. oil
2 mashed ripe bananas (optional)
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Beat egg yolks; add milk and oil.
Pour into the flour mixture and stir just enough to moisten dry ingredients.
Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry and fold into mixture.
Use mixture in waffle iron.
Yield:
8 waffles.
