Angel Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 angel food cake, cut in 4 layers
    1 1/3 c. instant dry milk
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. instant coffee
    4 egg yolks
    3/4 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. walnuts
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Combine dry milk, sugar and coffee; mix together. Beat egg yolks and add water; add to dry mixture. Add butter and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened; then cook 2 minutes longer. Add flavorings and beat until thick enough to spread. Spread filling over each layer. Sprinkle with nuts and stack.
