Honey-Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. honey
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sour cream
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    3 c. quick oats (uncooked)
    1 c. chopped dates
Preparation
    Cream butter; gradually add sugar and honey, beating until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add sour cream and mix well.
    Combine flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and ginger; add to creamed mixture.
    Stir in oats and dates, mixing well.
    Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets; bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Cool 5 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
    Makes 8 dozen.
