Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. oats
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oats.
    Let stand 20 minutes.
    Then add brown sugar, sugar, shortening, eggs, baking soda, baking powder, salt and flour.
    Bake in an 8 x 13-inch pan for 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
