Chili Sauce New Mexico Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or pork
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 Tbsp. crushed dried red chili pepper
    1 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Cook all ingredients, except water and flour, covered, over medium heat for 1 hour.
    Blend water into flour; add to meat mixture.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Yields 3 1/2 cups sauce.
