Raw Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. cabbage, chopped
6 or 8 onions, chopped
6 hot peppers
6 or 8 peppers, chopped (red and green)
6 carrots, shredded
1 c. salt
6 c. vinegar
5 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. celery seed
1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
-
Sprinkle salt over vegetables.
Let sit overnight.
Next morning, rinse and drain.
Add remaining ingredients.
Stir to dissolve sugar.
Put in hot jars and seal.
No cooking.
