Harvest Moon Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    1 c. peeled and thinly sliced carrots
    1 c. broccoli flowerets
    1 c. peeled and finely diced potatoes
    1/2 c. finely diced celery
    2 c. chicken broth or stock
    1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
    4 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
    2 c. milk
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    croutons (optional)
Preparation
    Place onion, carrots, broccoli, potatoes, celery and chicken broth in large kettle or Dutch oven.
    Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
