French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    12 slices bread (Pepperidge Farm, toasting white)
Preparation
    Melt butter or margarine in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Add brown sugar and cinnamon.
    Cover with 2 layers of 6 slices of bread.
    Beat eggs and milk.
    Pour over bread.
    Cover and let stand overnight in refrigerator.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes. Invert onto serving platter.
    Serve with syrup or powdered sugar.
