Knippy Clams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans clams
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. clam juice
    1 egg yolk
    2 tsp. minced parsley
    1/2 tsp. grated onions
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 tsp. grated cheese
    buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
    Melt shortening and mix with flour and juice.
    Cook and stir until smooth, then put in slightly beaten egg yolk for 2 minutes and cook slowly.
    Add seasoning and clams.
    Pour into baking dish. Top with crumbs and cheese.
    Bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
