Jean'S Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1/4 stick butter or oleo
3 Tbsp. cocoa
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar, cornstarch and cocoa, then egg yolks and milk. Thicken on top of stove in saucepan.
Add butter and vanilla.
Pour in baked pie shell.
Beat the egg whites.
Add dash of cream of tartar and 1/4 teaspoon sugar.
Cover with meringue and bake in oven until meringue is golden brown.
