Old Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c sugar
    3 sticks butter
    4 c plain flour
    3 tsp baking powder
    2 tsp lemon extract (may use vanilla)
Preparation
    Sift flour and baking powder, set aside.
    Beat eggs thoroughly. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.
    Add 3 c of flour to mixture. Sprinkle remaining flour onto a large platter and knead dough. Don't roll too thin.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until slightly brown. Store after cooled, in air tight container.
