Almond Bark - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. butter (no substitute)
    1 c. blanche almonds (raw)
Preparation
    Cook briskly until almonds pop and candy is light brown, about 10 minutes.
    Turn up the burner slightly to get it brown.
    Never stop stirring.
    Pour on heated cookie sheet.
    Spread thin.
