Butterless And Eggless Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box raisins
    3 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    4 c. flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cook raisins with 2 cups cold water for 15 minutes.
    Let cool, then add 1 cup cold water, sugar, shortening, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, baking soda, flour and chopped nuts.
    Bake 45 minutes at 375\u00b0.
