Congo Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 stick margarine, melted
    3 large eggs
    nuts
    2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. salt
    6 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Sift brown sugar, flour, baking powder and salt all together. Melt margarine.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Add the flour mixture.
    Beat until smooth.
    Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 325\u00b0 until toothpick comes out clean.
