Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) pkg. frozen, candied sweet potatoes
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 c. milk
    3 eggs
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Prepare sweet potatoes per package directions.
    Cool.
    In a blender or food processor, combine potatoes, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, ginger and nutmeg.
    Cover and blend well. Add milk and eggs.
    Pour into unbaked pie crust. Bake 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
    Pie will be puffy and sink as it cools. Serve with whipped cream. Makes 8 servings.
