Deborah'S Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
    1 lb. turkey breakfast sausage or ground beef (optional)
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    1 egg
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 to 1 c. crushed crackers
Preparation
    Boil broccoli, drain and set aside.
    In large skillet, saute onion until crisp-tender.
    Add turkey breakfast sausage or ground beef and cook until brown.
    Drain off fat.
