Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
orange rind and juice or 1/2 c. concentrate
hot water
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. cranberries, cut up
1/2 to 1 c. cut up nut meats
Preparation

Pour into a measuring cup the juice and grated rind of one orange and shortening and add enough hot water to make 3/4 cup liquid.
Add this all to dry ingredients.
Mix well.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour for a bread pan and 40 minutes for 2 smaller pans.
