Southern Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 stick butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. boiling water
    4 eggs
    2/3 c. corn meal
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. milk
Preparation
    Beat eggs (separate).
    Melt butter in 3-quart saucepan.
    Stir in meal.
    Add boiling water, then milk, stirring constantly, until smooth.
    Pour in egg yolks, then fold in egg whites to which has been added salt and baking powder.
    When mixture begins to rise, pour in greased heated baking dish.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
