Venison Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. canned tomatoes
    1 1/2 lb. onions, chopped
    1 lb. green pepper, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1/2 c. parsley, chopped
    1/2 c. butter
    1 lb. ground lean pork
    2 1/2 lb. deer meat, ground for chili
    1/2 c. chili powder or to taste
    2 (15 oz.) cans red beans with juice
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. cumin seed
    1 1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Simmer tomatoes 5 minutes in their own juices.
    Add onions, green peppers and cook until tender, stirring often.
    Add garlic and parsley.
    Melt butter in a large skillet and saute meat for 15 minutes.
    Add meat to tomato mixture; stir in chili powder and cook 10 minutes.
    Add beans and spices and water, if needed. Simmer covered 1 hour.
    Cook uncovered for 30 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10.
