Microwave Cracker Jacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. light Karo syrup
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 qt. popped popcorn
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 can Pam
    1 c. peanuts (optional)
Preparation
    Grease a grocery bag with Pam.
    In a 2-quart or larger glass dish, place brown sugar, Karo syrup, margarine and salt.
    Microwave on High 2 minutes.
    Stir.
    Microwave on High 4 minutes and be sure that the mixture is boiling at least 2 minutes.
    Stir into syrup mixture the 1/2 teaspoon soda.
    If using peanuts, add to the syrup and stir in now.
    Pour over popcorn.
    In bag, shake 2 minutes. Fold over top of bag.
    Shake 2 minutes.
    Fold over top of bag. Microwave 1 1/2 minutes longer.
    Shake again.
    Pour into a large greased pan to cool.
