Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 large can evaporated milk
    1 small can evaporated milk
    4 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    In large pan scald the 4 1/2 cups of milk, set aside.
    Combine sugar, salt, eggs and flour; add to scalded milk.
    Cook until it boils, stirring to prevent burning.
    Add vanilla and canned milk, cool.
    Add 1 1/2 cups sugar.
    Strain into a gallon freezer can and add enough milk to fill can 2/3 full and freeze.
