Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake mix, baked, cooled and crumbled
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    2 (3 oz.) instant vanilla or chocolate pudding
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 bananas
    1 (16 oz.) container dairy whipped topping
Preparation
    Layer 1/2 of each ingredient as listed, then repeat.
    Garnish with pecans, coconut and cherries.
