Waldorf Astoria Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, chopped

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar well.
Sift together flour, salt and baking powder; add alternately along with milk.
Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
Add nuts last.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven.
