Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
3 Tbsp. molasses
1 c. sour milk
1 c. bran
1 c. flour
pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking soda
raisins (if desired)
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add egg, molasses and sour milk, which has had cup
of bran soaking in it. Add dry ingredients. Bake at 375\u00b0
for
20 minutes.
Makes 18 medium-sized muffins.
