Mom'S Baked Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. hot milk
    2 eggs
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 pinch salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Add salt and sugar and stir until sugar dissolves.
    Slowly add milk to egg mixture.
    Add nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla.
    Pour into buttered pudding dish or cups.
    Place dish in pan of hot water in a moderate oven and bake 30 to 45 minutes at 325\u00b0, until custard is firm in center.
    Test with knife; if knife comes out clean, custard is done.
