Refrigerator Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1 c. hot water
1 pkg. lime gelatin
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 can evaporated milk, chilled
Preparation

Saute coconut in butter; add vanilla wafers.
Press 2/3 of mixture
in 9 x 12-inch pan. Add hot water to gelatin; add sugar and
lemon\tjuice.\tSet
aside
to thicken.
Whip milk. Whip gelatin
slightly
and
combine with whipped milk.\tPour onto crumbs.
Cover with remaining crumbs and set in refrigerator.
